The idea behind the Color Coded Tajweed Holy Quran:īased on a practical understanding of phonology, we have colour-coded the place of some letters to facilitate the correct recitation of the holy Quran.
Gray: used to indicate the letters that are not to be pronounced. Light Blue: used for the sound of Qualqualah (plosive sound). Dark Blue: used for letters to be emphatically pronounced.
Green: indicates the nasal (Ghunnah) and Ikhfa. Red: indicates a long/short vowels (2,4,5, up to 6 vowels).
